Choosing a Military Storage Unit
If you’re about to deployed, you have enough concerns without worrying about where to store your belongings. We’ve put together a few common questions we receive from our active duty service tenants about self storage units.
1. What size unit do I need?
The easiest way to determine size, is to check out our unit size guide. The storage unit size that makes the most sense for you will depend on how much you are looking to store. A typical one-bedroom apartment fits perfectly into our 10×10′ unit. If you’re currently staying in military housing, a 5×5′ unit may have just enough room to store your personal items, but not necessarily furniture.
2. How about my vehicle or other toys?
Our location in Anderson, SC has a safe and secure parking lot for vehicle and recreational parking. If you’d prefer an indoor unit, contact us for availability.
3. Is climate-controlled space available?
All of our indoor storage units in Anderson are climate-controlled. So, you don’t have to worry about humidity and moisture during a long-term storage stay!
4. Is it possible to set up auto-pay?
Absolutely. If you don’t want to worry about paying bills during deployment, we offer the opportunity to schedule automatic payments from your credit card. Please speak to our facility manager about setting up this option.
5. Do you offer a military discount?
Yes! It’s just our small way of giving back. Please be prepared to show your military ID at the time of your rental and unit walk-through, and our on-site manager will be happy to apply the discount for you. Thank you again for your service!
